As 2018 comes to a close, I thought I would write and share a blog post with an overview of everything that has been going on with me this year. It's been quite a whirlwind, but I feel as though I've handled everything to the best of my capabilities and I have grown quite a lot. This year, I graduated from Santa Monica College with an AA in Liberal Arts, after only having been there for a year right out of high school. I was accepted into UCLA as a junior year English major and I started attending classes there in the Fall of 2018. Learning to balance a rigorous course load at a school like UCLA with a budding career in entertainment has proved to be quite difficult, but I am not discouraged because passion, drive, and determination are the fundamental properties that you need to accomplish anything. As I started UCLA in the fall, I also joined Kappa Kappa Gamma's Gamma Xi chapter and found the best support system that a girl could ask for. This year I also released a new single called "Country Class," which holds a special place in my heart because country music is my roots...I was born and raised a diverse girl, but country is one of the musical properties that I hold deep in my core. So far, we've gotten great feedback from that song and I can't wait for what's to come. I have so much more to share with all of you.
Some goals I have going into 2019 are:
- Strive to do my best in school
- Continue to grow my career in the entertainment industry
- Connect more with fans
- Take care of myself mentally and physically
- Experience life day by day
